York Food Festival 2008 will see an authentic Givry / Gevrey Tutored wine tasting with a superb four course lunch.

Givry and Gevrey (also know as Gevrey Chambertin) are two famous wine villages from different parts of Burgundy - both known for their red Pinot Noir. Givry produces fine reasonably priced wines and is situated near Chalon. Gevrey however is a particularly prestigious village, close to York's twin town Dijon.
