In association with the Yorkshire Post: You can enjoy a special pork dinner supplied by The Ginger Pig, who are Yorkshire Farmers and the darlings of the London Foodie scene in Borough Market. The menu will be prepared by Festival Director Michael Hjort and the team from Melton's Restaurant, and will also feature wines selected by Christine Austin wine Critic of the Yorkshire Post

Black Pudding with Yorkshire Apple Salad

Slow Roast Shoulder of Tamworth Pork with Yorkshire Damsons

At the Dinner, the winners of the various Yorkshire Post Taste Awards will receive their trophies and you will learn where to go in future to be able to buy the best produce in Yorkshire.

The Yorkshire Post Taste Awards is an annual event, in which producers are invited to submit their produce to a taste test. The categories for entry are: Meats, Growers, Pies, Hand-made, Local Brew and Dairy.

The competition takes place before the Festival but culminates in an awards dinner where you, as an attendee, could have a dinner that represents the best produce in Yorkshire.
